Prior to joining the Bar, Sfiso taught contract, administrative law, and constitutional law at the University of Oxford. He also served as a law clerk to Justice Khampepe and Justice Majiedt at the Constitutional Court of South Africa. He trained as a candidate attorney at Bowmans Inc.
Sfiso holds a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from the University of Oxford, where he was both a Chevening Scholar and an Ismail Mohamed Scholar, and is completing his Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) there. He also holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand.
He practises across a broad commercial and public law spectrum, including commercial law, insolvency, competition law, mining and construction law, as well as administrative, constitutional, and human rights law. He also publishes in accredited academic journals in these fields.
