Duncan has a broad commercial and corporate litigation practice with particular focus on shareholders' disputes, commercial contracts, takeover regulation, administrative and regulatory law, international and domestic arbitration, defamation and media law, and insurance.
Before joining the Bar in 2018, Duncan was a partner in the dispute resolution team at Webber Wentzel, where he specialised in commercial, media and tax litigation. He holds BSocSci and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town and an LLM from New York University, where he specialised in international arbitration and international litigation.
