Duncan has a commercial practice with a particular focus on corporate law, takeover regulation, international arbitration, insurance, administrative and regulatory law, telecommunications, media and defamation.
Before joining the Bar, Duncan was a partner at Webber Wentzel in a dispute resolution team specialising in commercial, media and tax litigation. He holds BSocSci and LLB degrees from the University of Cape Town, and an LLM from New York University in which he specialised in arbitration and international litigation. He has completed the certificate in Advanced Company Law I and II at the University of the Witwatersrand. In 2016, Duncan attended a legal professional exchange in China, run by the China Law Society.
