Lebo has a commercial practice focusing on competition, telecommunications, administrative, construction, business rescue and insolvency law. Lebo’s experience spans both the public and private sectors having worked as senior legal counsel at the Competition Commission of South Africa from 2017 prior to his call to the Bar in January 2019. At the Competition Commission, Lebo was tasked with prosecuting cartels, litigating complex mergers as well as abuse of dominance cases. Prior to joining the Competition Commission, Lebo spent five years at ENSafrica rising through the ranks to senior associate, handling numerous commercial and corporate matters across the African continent.
Lebo has a passion for expanding knowledge in the legal fraternity with particular emphasis on governance and competition law. As such, he is a member of the King Committee on Corporate Governance, a contributing editor of the Competition Law Reports and a member of the International Competition Network. He has written for and presented at various legal conferences and has also published a number of legal articles in the Business Day Law and Tax Review, Without Prejudice, The Times and African Law Digest.
