Before joining the Bar, Emily served as a law clerk to Justice Khampepe at the Constitutional Court and worked as an attorney in the insurance litigation team at Norton Rose Fulbright. Emily holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and Master of Philosophy in Law from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.
Emily’s areas of practice include administrative and constitutional law, competition law, contract and company law, delict and defamation, human rights, insurance, and general commercial litigation.
