Nyoko obtained a degree in Economics from Smith College in Massachusetts (USA), LLB and Ph.D degrees from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Post-graduate diploma in Tax Law from the University of Johannesburg.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Nyoko worked as a law research clerk to former Chief Justice Ngcobo, and for Justices Froneman and Zondo at the Constitutional Court of South Africa in 2011. In 2012, Nyoko worked as a researcher at the Centre for Applied Legal Studies (CALS), as well as a part-time lecturer at Wits University.
Nyoko has a keen interest in constitutional law; administrative law; employment law; public law; competition law and tax law.
